LATEST NEWS FROM THE PATHS. LAST UPDATE OCTOBER 2015
As some of you may be aware, The steps taken in 2013 to close two section of the West Cliff path due to evidence of toppling movement in the area has vidicated Dorset County Ranger Service after a large section on Cliff path has toppled.
This cliff fall happened in September this year and is still on the move. Although this cliff fall has excited photographers and onlookers, please keep well clear and do not pass the closed fence. This is in place for your own safety.
There are currently no plans to excavate the path inland again, however, the current diversion into Tout Quarry will be established as a permanent path and form part of the South West Coast Path.
